Isn't she cute!? She's from 2011, and was one of my Holy Grail items that I was really fiending to get. I finally broke down and ordered her after a while. I wasn't going to because I'm starting to run out of space in my room, and the space that IS available was set aside for other releases this year. So I just threw her on top of a shelf but I plan on moving her into a lighted one because her outfit is dark, so it's hard to see the details without any lighting. I love the checkered floor and mirror that she came with. The only thing I hate is that when you view her from a certain angle...All you can see is BOOTY CHEEKS. I don't wanna have to explain that to my mom.
Baby boy!!!!! I finally got my hands on him. He is my child I love him so much. I was crushed by a certain part in NieR. Crying my eyes out (of course.) I just really love Emil, I could scream about it all day. His nendo is cute (imo!) But it was kind of hard to maneuver his clock without his arms popping out or the cloak itself shifting. Probably the hardest time I've had with a nendo. But the long nails that I'm currently sporting probably didn't help.
Bad picture taken immediately in my kitchen after I unboxed these two. I've been wanting the Bishoujo Pennywise since she was released! It took me a long time because I missed out on the preorders and the aftermarket was pretty bad. (I've seen people trying to sell her for $300-$400 ???) I managed to score her on Ami-Ami for about her retail price. She is so cute, and the details on her are great and I especially love that puddle of blood base with the paper boat.
Now, I've been wanting a Guts figure since I watched the OG and the movies so I'm pretty happy that I got this Pop-Up Parade for a good price. He is big and very detailed for the brand he comes from! His sword is just okay (seems kinda cheapy) but the etching details in the furs and armors makes up for it. I will be sticking him on my Bloodborne shelf since he fits in.
The start of a small Dimileth shelf! The background is a picture of Garreg Mach that I printed and stuck in an acrylic stand. I received Byleth the other day and I was blown away by how pretty she is hehe. I'm waiting on some pins and acrylic stands of the two to arrive in the mail so I can finish up this shelf. It's limited space, so I don't want to overcrowd it. I'm hoping for a timeskip Dimitri..I would spend a lot to have it ngl.
I bought a new small shelf to put in the corner of my room to display some of my prize figures that were previously in my detolf to make room for the scale figures releasing this year. I stuck the Kaitai Fantasy Sanrio trading figures on it too. This will be the designated cute girl shelf (at least for now!)
My NieR shelf is finally going somewhere! 9S is so cute ♥ This shelf features my absolute pride and joy--the homemade Grimoire Weiss in the back, gifted to me in 2010 [back when we were just bf & gf kekeke
(/▽\)] when the only NieR release the West got was NieR Gestalt. He knew how much I loved the game and characters (despite its flaws hehe) and worked for days making it for me for my birthday. It has empty pages inside, he told me to fill it with drawings BUT I've always felt like my work was never good enough to fill it's pages haha. I plan on getting Kaine and Emil and then separating the figures by game.
She finally came in after being delayed like twice! This Himiko Toga figure is SO cute, I love that she's perched on a pile of stuffies and other cute stuff. I didn't realize that the chains were...actually chains so I had to drape them around the figure myself. It was a little hard because I'm pretty clumsy with my fingers. She came with an extra faceplate of her just smiling :) but it was boring and I like her weirdo face more.
I jumped on the chance to own an affordable Persona 3 figure so on one hand, I'm very happy with my purchase considering it was an accessible Popup Parade, but at the same time I feel like...welp, you definitely get what you pay for lol. She's very minimally shaded so she looks kind of flat, and I am not a fan of how face job looks up close. It's pretty much the same feelings I have for my Dimitri (Fire Emblem: Three Houses) Popup Parade figure, like I'm not really happy/impressed with the quality or sculpt but overall I'm happy to own some merch of characters I like.
I really enjoy noodlestoppers even though they are "cheap" according to some other figure enthusiasts. I just find them really cute! These two are my favorite KNY characters. Picture taken in my kitchen because of the lighting but I did end up moving them to my KNY shelf on my detolf.
The only Funkos that I find really cute, but I am biased and love Gloomy Bear and Kuromi so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This 2B figure's sculpt is so beautiful. When she arrived I was shocked at how big she was (a bit over 10 inches) but that's because I never check dimensions on anything I ever order lol. My favorite details on her are the lacing in the back of her boots and the sheer cutouts on the back of her dress. Her face sculpt is also very pretty!
Tifa ♥! My first Tifa figure that isn't an Advent Children Figma that got thrown away by my mom on accident (lmao sad T_T) This is actually my least favorite of her date dress options in FFVIIR but it's modeled after the OG dress. She's currently sitting on KNY shelf because I want to put her on a dedicated FFVII shelf, but I have nothing besides her as of yet. I cannot wait until her other dress figures come out!!!! Slay, my asian kween.
My PS2 waifu, KOS-MOS. I have loved her since 2002. Super happy with this one. She is my first Xenosaga figure!! (I was always too broke before or had different priorities when it came to spending money.) I like how her translucent hair looks under the LED lights. She's the first figure that I bought secondhand from a private seller so I was a little nervous but they offered me a fair price and packed her wonderfully!
My KNY shelf featuring my faves Shinobu and Giyuu! There's a GIANT tanjiro..I didnt know he was going to be so big. I will have to take a new picture of this shelf soon because I've moved some things around (and I want to order a nicer Giyuu figure to stick in there.)
The shelf that I jokingly call the Bad Bitch™ shelf. The Eileen the Crow figure is amazing, she has tons of little details. One of my favorite figures for sure! I'm hoping to reorganize this shelf once my Lady Maria figma and Ningyou nendo arrive so I can turn this into a Bloodborne shelf.
Faye and Spike from Cowboy Bebop. One of my first pricy figures. The detail on the paint job looks beautiful under LED lights. The sculpting and painting on Spike's clothing look especially fantastic!
My cringe and beloved BNHA shelf. TBH I was initially one of the ~haters~ but I gave it a second chance when I wasn't feeling too good and fell in love it with! My favorite figures are the Shinsou, Kaminari, and All Might ones. I also have a BNHA villains shelf but for right now it's filled with crappy prize figures that are kinda ugly (like the Dabi one..his face...is so bad LOL) but I will take pictures of it when my nicer Toga and Dabi scale figures arrive sometime in 2023.
Look at my ugly bootleg sakura Miku that I was scammed by LOL. I will be replacing her soon..I have a new Sakura Miku that will be coming in 2023. I meant to throw away this crusty Miku but tbh I grew quite attached to her and her wonky face LMAO. I'll probably throw her on my manga shelf when the time comes. I'm trying to find a nice Homura figure that isn't too pricy to go with my Madoka. The one I ordered years ago to match her got lost in the mail and I got really disheartened from the loss haha.
